Use Android Phone as a CCTV/Security Camera | The Simplest Way.

Here in this Tutorial i am going to show you how you will be able to use your Android phone as a Security/CCTV camera. There are so many ways to use your android as a CCTV Camera .Well, I am going to tell you the Simplest Way through which you can use your Android Phone as CCTV camera.

So follow these simple steps:-

(1) Install IPWEBCAM Android app from the playstore.

(2) Now open the app and go to the bottom and click on start server.

(3) Then click on yes.

(4) Now your phone will start working as CCTV camera and it will look like this.

(5) Then you have to note down URL which is marked above.


(6) Now open VLC player on your pc or laptop.


        (NOTE:- BEFORE MOVING ON, MAKE SURE THAT YOUR MOBILE
          AND LAPTOP MUST BE CONNECTED TO THE SAME NETWORK.)


(7) Click on media which you will see on left corner of the screen.


(8) Now click on open network stream from the dropdown menu.

(9) Now write URL in space provided followed by /video and then click on play.

(10) Now you can see live recording on the screen.

Next is

       HOW TO SAVE THE RECORDIND ??


(1) Again click on MEDIA and then click on CONVERT/SAVE.

(2) Again put URL followed by /video and Then click on CONVERT/SAVE.

(3) Now choose the destination folder & Then click on start.


(4) Now you can see your video is being recorded.
